Michigan Support Circle es una organización no lucrativa que surgió hace tres meses con el objetivo de ayudar a las familias que han sido separadas de sus hijos. Proveen transporte, alojamiento, ropa y otras necesidades para las familias que han sido liberadas. Además, trabajan en conjunto con grupos locales de apoyo para atender las necesidades de las familias, apoyarlas hasta que haya un plan a largo plazo para cada familia y asegurar que todas sean tratadas con respeto y compasión.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI: La Comisión de Relaciones Comunitarias de la Ciudad de Grand Rapids realizó el pasado viernes 21 de septiembre de 2018, la celebración del 65 Aniversario de los Derechos Civiles y Cena de Gala. El tema de este año fue: "Generaciones trenzadas: pasado, presente y futuro", en donde se celebró y honro el pasado, se observó el estado actual de los derechos civiles en Grand Rapids y se ayudo a diseñar el futuro de la ciudad.

Early voting, absentee balloting underway in key elections that culminate Nov. 6

Close governor’s races and key mid-term congressional elections are expected to draw Latino and other voters in big numbers to the polls in Ohio and Michigan. The early voting and absentee ballot numbers bear out that prediction as the Nov. 6 general election quickly approaches.


Voting Schedule for the 2018 Elections

November 3: Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot (Noon)

November 5: Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by this date

November 6: General Election: Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

November 6: Voters are able to drop off absentee ballot at their county board of elections office until 7:30 p.m.
